It’s been a while since I’ve written. A lot has happened. A lot of health issues. A lot of sadness. A lot of life.
But I’m feeling pretty inspired today so I’m going to jump in and write a quickie catch up post and continue on with my regularly scheduled ramblings.
A lot has happened over the past month or so. Three major things…
My mom has had a lot of health issues that I won’t go into, but she was hospitalized a couple of weeks ago and is still recovering.
I’ve been having some eye issues that were causing me a lot of problems with headaches and vision problems. They are easing up, but I’m probably not finished with them yet. This has caused me to be away from the computer for a couple of weeks and that was why I’ve been MIA pretty much everywhere. But I’m doing better now so hopefully that will continue.
My sister had a house fire last week. Everyone is okay but there is extensive damage to the house. It’s going to take a lot of time and money to get things right again. The possibility that I could have lost my sister is unimaginable to me. I don’t even have words.
But life is going on and things are looking up. The next few weeks are going to be out busiest time of the year. I’m going to try my best to keep up with posting about recipes, scrapbooking pages, and other general natterings. I have come to love writing here. It’s an extension of the things I love most in the world. Another Happy Place. 🙂
