Saying Goodbye… and Hello

This is the time of year I hate the most. The time when Little Man goes back to California. They say being a parent is the hardest job in the world. Being a long distance parent is so much harder. But we do the best we can. And he is very lucky that he has so many people who love him so much. That’s what we concentrate on. And I already have tons of plans for boxes to send. And in a couple of months we’ll start planning Super Awesome Summer 2013. It will be epic 🙂

So on a positive note, here are a few of the things that we enjoy while living the child free lifestyle- Hello grown up time!

Not having to go to the toy department until Christmas.

Watching marathons of John Stewart instead of G. I. Joe.

Eating mass quantities of doughnuts.

Grown up drinks. (I rarely drink, but I never drink when he’s here, so it’s nice to have that option sometimes)

Other grown up activities. 🙂
