July Roundup

I didn’t do a Roundup last month, so I’m playing a little catch up. I’m proclaiming September to be Catch Up Month.

In July…

We went-
swimming with Little Man
to the intracoastal to watch fireworks with Antoine and Heidi
to the Ford dealership
to K-Mart and had a deep discussion sitting in the furniture dept.

We watched-
Olympic Gymnastic Trials
Eureka (started the series over w/ Little Man)
X- Men cartoon
Real Steel
Days of Our Lives
The Amazing Spider Man at the theater
lots of silly you tube videos about farmers and robbery, but mostly Angry Birds
Next Food Network Star. Go Justin!
The first episode of season 2 of Downton Abbey, but got bummed out and didn’t finish.

Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics
So Much Olympics! Soccer, archery, swimming, diving, gymnastics, and volleyball

We celebrated-
Our engagement anniversary
4th of July
Little Man’s birthday with sunrise on the beach, breakfast, a trip to the game store, lots of Angry Birds, and Hibachi.

We played-
soccer
football

In Scrappy news-
I caught up with Project Life, then immediately fell behind again
I made my first template
I made a goal list

I listened to-

Pop Stuff

We ate-
at Burger King
at Moe’s for burritos!
at home a lot
out for every meal in St. Augustine
sausage balls, lots of fresh bread and drank lots of basil lemonade

Randomly-
We worked out a nice summer routine.
We drew on the sidewalks.
Continued working on the balcony garden.
We un-cut the chord, which was a long and arduous process.
We took our last family picture of the summer together
RIP Sally Ride and Maeve Binchy
We updated our OS’s to Mountain Lion.
I started the What’s For Dinner? series of posts.

Post written- 29, most ever so far!

Photos taken- I’m estimating somewhere around 6,000. It was a huge picture taking month. I still haven’t compiled them all together.

We had a fantastic trip to St. Augustine with Jason’s Dad. I’m going to try to blog all about it next week (finally!)

We said goodbye to the Little Man. He stayed a couple of weeks with the gp’s before leaving for California in August.
