Project Life- Week 45

Another week down. Still struggling a bit, but the Project Dig Deep ebook and the chats over at BPC were super inspirational. I’m mulling over a couple of additional pages based on some of the things I read, so will probably work on those this week.

Lots of instagram pics this week. I think one of my goals next year will be to use my big camera more. Still using the Cobalt kit primarily. I think I like the plain grey background to the pages instead of adding in a BG paper, so this is probably the last week I’ll do that, except maybe for holidays.

This week was pretty normal, mostly stuff around the house, and going to Rorabeck’s, one of our favorite places to get plants and produce.

It was also Election Day this week. I want to do an insert about that eventually, even if it’s just copying and pasting from my blog post.

I did do an insert about our experience voting, where I just copied and pasted that post into the journaling. I’ll probably also print out copies to go into my Library of Memories-Seasons scrapbook.

  1. I’m in the middle of my Week 45! Got halfway done and ran out of photo paper (ugh!). I’m glad that the ebook and chat inspired you! Everyone else’s stuff in the ebook is inspiring me too. I’m having to talk myself out of going back for now. Love your photos. They look so high quality but I know you took most of them on your phone! Impressive.

  2. Thank you for saying that about the photos 🙂 Once you get your iPhone, you’ll notice a HUGE difference in your pics. The camera on the 5 is amazing! (Which they’re all really good, not sure which one you’re getting). Also, and I meant to comment about this to you on your blog, but the very first app you must get is Momento. You’ll love it! The second one you need is Grocery IQ. It’s great.
The book is really something I think I’ll come back to a lot for inspiration. I think the first page I’m going to do is the before and after house tour. We’re just over the six month mark at our place, so the timing is perfect. And of course now that I’ve said that I’ll really have to do it 🙂
It was great chatting with you last week, though I think I monopolized the chat a bit with my 1000 questions. 😛
Ugh printing! I feel your pain. I was all set to start printing for DD and of course my ink is low. I’ll probably end up printing at Walgreens or something.
