Spider!

This guy (or girl) has been hanging out by our front door this week. I took this picture yesterday. The camera lens fogged up in the heat, which I think gives it a neat look.

This morning I went out with a mop handle to knock down the web, but this thing is relentless! It was not remotely intimidated by the spray water bottle either. It was already repairing the web after just a couple of minutes. We’ll try again tomorrow, we can only handle spiders in small doses.

Did I mention it’s almost as big as my hand? Yeah, there’s that.
