I was looking through photos to scrap for an assignment and came across these. And since I’m doing the Un-Challenge Challenge this month, I dropped everything I was going to do, and just scrapped. It was pretty great!
I was pretty heavily influenced by Shimelle for this one. Paper strips, grouping things a certain way, etc. I did one thing that I very rarely (if ever) do on a LO- I split up the journaling. I see that paper scrappers do that all the time, but I have not really tried it before. I’ll always just change my journaling around or change the font size to give more room if I need it. I was nearly finished with the LO, just adding the finishing touches, when I remembered another snippet that I wanted to add. Instead of doing my usual, I just plopped more journaling where there was room. I think it’s kind of neat.
Journaling reads- We got [Little Man] a skateboard for his birthday. It was fun watching Jason show him some moves. It started to rain so we didn’t have much time to let him practice

The second page was pretty simple. I started out looking for a kit that would match the orange in the swim shoes. But I saw this little kit, and I knew I probably wouldn’t ever use it for a site challenge, so I thought it would be great for my Un-Challenge Challenge

These might not be “super significant” memories, but the small ones are the ones we often forget in time, so I’m glad I have these down.
