On 4/26, we left Miami and headed south to the Keys. The beach at Key Largo holds a special place in my heart, but we had forgotten our bathing suits so we drove around instead.
We stopped at the Key Largo Tourist Information building to get brochures and see if there was anything fun to do before we had dinner. They had the nicest key lime hand scrub in the bathrooms. And of course bathroom selfies aren’t nearly so trashy when you’re wearing a big classy sun hat. Or at least that’s what I told myself.
We drove a bit further down to Islamorada and looked around there for awhile. We happened upon some random yacht club (like you do) and walked around enjoying the lovely breeze and taking lots of pictures of the water.
Then it was time for the thing we were all looking forward to- dinner at Bayside Grille!
