On Saturday we drove up to Boca Raton. We’re going through a bit of an antisocial hermit phase since August. It was nice to get out and explore a new town. We checked out the Town Center Mall, the beach, and drove around looking at rich people’s houses. Because that’s what everyone does in Boca, right?
On our way through the mall we passed by a Tesla showroom. It was very cool to see all the car tech.
We had lunch at the food court and talked to someone at the Apple store about getting my phone repaired. We decided to just wait and trade it in once the iPhone 6’s come out. I had my first salted caramel frappuccino of the season and bought a couple of tea lights at Yankee candle. I can’t wait to smell up the house with those.
After the mall we headed to the beach. It had been raining off and on all day so we didn’t stay very long. We walked along the pier and watched some people skimming. I’d never seen that before. It was pretty neat.
There weren’t many people braving the drizzles.
I think my arm has acquired a few more freckles this summer.
We walked along the pier and talked. It’s been a few weeks since we’ve taken many pictures so I think we were a bit out of practice.
It was great to get out and smell the ocean. I’m so glad we got out and explored. We really needed that.
